To give the allusion of more space, like a pass-thru kitchen, we used uninterrupted clear mirror for the back splash and mirrored backs for the upper glass cabinetry. Almost all the surfaces are dark and reflective so one can never perceive the limits of the space and all the logistical gymnastics concealed behind the paneling.
The grain of the Eucalyptus with the blue tiger eye counter provide a lot of character from their natural form. The use of nickel trim in combination with many small point of light gives the surfaces a kind of sparkle. The neutral tone palette lets the blue tiger's eye counter stands out.
