Dinamic Fitness

Gym | Completed 2015 | Portales, Guatemala City

Working with a local design firm on the graphic campaign, we extended Dinamic Fitness’s branding to the architecture, making sure the space not only reflected that branding but was infused with it. We adopted graphic patterns into the lighting, finishes, and wall texture, where perforated metal offers a vertical gradient of honeycomb punch-outs rising alongside the central stair.

Orienting the design toward an energizing play of color, movement, and pattern, the graphic angularity continues in the turn of the counter; in the linear lighting that runs at a dynamic angle across the space; and in the bright yellow stairway that swells around an interior garden to lead visitors up to the gym spaces above.
